The Olympus InVision Photo Festival is proud to present the 6th InVision Photography Month, a celebration of fine art photography featuring exhibitions, workshops and presentations at more than 20 venues throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region Nov. 1-30. New InVision Photography Month partners for 2016 include Philadelphia’s Institute of Contemporary Art, The Main Line Art Center in Haverford, The Photo Review in Langhorne and The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, expanding the photography-focused initiative to Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery counties for the first time.

Kicking off InVision Photography Month is the Olympus InVision Photo Festival at the Banana Factory and SteelStacks in Bethlehem Nov. 4-6. The three-day festival includes dynamic photo workshops and presentations by renowned photographers including George Kalinsky, who’s photographed hundreds of stars over the past half-century as the resident photographer for Madison Square Garden, and acclaimed wet plate photographer Ian Ruhter.

On Nov. 5, the public can join Haverford College Professor William Earle Williams at Lehigh University in Bethlehem for a discussion on the once controversial work of Robert Frank, a Swiss-born photographer who traveled across the United States in the 1950s for his photo book “The Americans,” which revealed the hidden face of poverty, racism and consumerism in the country. Frank’s exhibit, “The Americans: 81 Contact Sheets,” is on display in the Dubois Gallery of the Lehigh University Art Galleries through Dec. 11.
