Nessa Grainger

Nessa Grainger, a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, Tyler School of Fine Arts and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

Since completing her studies, Nessa has received medals of honor and numerous other awards for her participation in juried and invitational exhibitions, both in this country and abroad.

Some of her awards include the National Association of Women Artists’ Gold Medal of Honor, Audubon Artists’ Silver Medal of Honor and the New Jersey Watercolor Society Silver Medal of Honor.

Nessa is the past president of the National Association of Women Artists and the New Jersey Watercolor Society. She teaches workshops throughout the United States, and her work has appeared in several publications, including “The Best of Watercolor 2 & 3” and in “Splash 3, Ideas and Inspirations.”
