Make Your Own - Glass Classes

Attention Glass Students:
Please wear the appropriate clothing to class. 70% or higher cotton clothing (cotton jeans & cotton tee shirt). No open toed shoes or high heels. Please keep your hair tied back at all times. Jewelry can be dangerous and uncomfortable. Eye protection is required. Eyewear is available for use in the studio. You may bring clear or lightly tinted sunglasses. Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself well hydrated.

Make Your Own with Beth Ann Ballek

GlassWorks’ Make Your Own program, run by artist Beth Ann Ballek, is a fun and exciting way to learn the basics of glassblowing. If you have ever watched glass art being made and would like to try it for yourself, this is your chance! Students may sign up for one-half hour time slots; chose between a flower, paperweight or ornament.

Flower $30; Ornament $30; Paperweight $50

Flowers and paperweights are for ages 14 and older; ornaments are for ages 6 and up.

No experience necessary – to secure your spot, call 610-332-1300 (advance sign-up requested due to limited space availability).

Make Your Own Sessions at the Torch with Rob Saydek

Sat.-Sun., May 10-11, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Learn how to craft your own glass art on the torch as you make a beautiful bead, pendant, turtle or fish. Students may sign up for one-half hour time slots. $30 per piece

RENTALS AND PRIVATE LESSONS

The hot shop and flameworking studio are available for rental when not in use for classes. GlassWorks can also arrange private lessons with qualified instructors when the studio is not in use.
