Attention Glass Students:
Please wear the appropriate clothing to class. 70% or higher cotton clothing (cotton jeans & cotton tee shirt). No open toed shoes or high heels. Please keep your hair tied back at all times. Jewelry can be dangerous and uncomfortable. Eye protection is required. Eyewear is available for use in the studio. You may bring clear or lightly tinted sunglasses. Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself well hydrated.

One-Day Beginning Glassblowingwith GlassWorks Staff

In this workshop, students learn the basics of blowing and manipulating glass, then create simple glass objects, such as a paperweight or a tumbler. No experience necessary.

Weekend Warrior Glassblowing with GlassWorks Staff

SP-1027 • Sat.-Sun., April 26-27, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

In this two-day workshop, students learn the basics of blowing and how to shape and manipulate molten glass into blown forms. No experience necessary.

Second Friday Open studio with GlassWorks staff

Second Friday of each month, 6-10 p.m.

Enhance your developing glass skills, under the instruction of the GlassWorks staff, in our new open studio sessions. Available only to current and past students. Prerequisite is one glass class.

$50 per glassblowing session; $40 per flameworking session

RENTALS AND PRIVATE LESSONS

The hot shop and flameworking studio are available for rental when not in use for classes. GlassWorks can also arrange private lessons with qualified instructors when the studio is not in use.
