Kiln Fired Glass, Flameworking and Beadmaking Weekend Workshops

Attention Glass Students:
Please wear the appropriate clothing to class. 70% or higher cotton clothing (cotton jeans & cotton tee shirt). No open toed shoes or high heels. Please keep your hair tied back at all times. Jewelry can be dangerous and uncomfortable. Eye protection is required. Eyewear is available for use in the studio. You may bring clear or lightly tinted sunglasses. Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself well hydrated.

Beginning Slumping and Fusing with Erica Biery

Learn how to cut stained or flat glass into shapes, then slump them over molds to create patterned tiles and plate shapes. No experience necessary.

Marble Weekend with Greg & Terri Seitz

Focus on making various types of inclusion techniques with marbles! In this workshop, students begin with the basics of shaping marbles. Color use and applications are demonstrated; surface design is also covered. No experience necessary.

RENTALS AND PRIVATE LESSONS

The hot shop and flameworking studio are available for rental when not in use for classes. GlassWorks can also arrange private lessons with qualified instructors when the studio is not in use.
