| Painter Karla Stinger graduated from Lafayette College in Easton with a bachelor’s degree in American studies and also studied art history and studio art at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.
Karla works in oils, acrylic and ink. Her abstract paintings have been exhibited at Monsoon Gallery in Bethlehem, New Brunswick Artist Co-Op in New Jersey and Lafayette’s Grossman Gallery.
From 2000-02, Karla was a visiting artist at Lafayette, where she produced artwork under the mentorship of faculty and mentored students in the visual arts. She has also been an instructor at Lafayette, initiating the development of a community outreach program to include the senior sector. She is currently the director of development at the Hunterdon Museum of Art in Clinton, N.J.
