new! Wacky Sculpture for Ages 9-12 with Sandy Defranco Giannini

Experience the amazing world of art with your kids and wacky artist Sandy Defranco Giannini. In this class, students ages 9-12 have fun creating wacky sculpture masks and animals or funky face shakers from recycled objects. Sandy works with students to push their artistic imagination to the limit. The class ends with a puppet show using the sculptures and shakers as the puppets!

Clay and Your Child for ages 5-8 with Jude Saleet
SP-5014 • Sat., March 29-May 17, 10 a.m.-noon
Jude Saleet enthusiastically guides you and your child through the basic techniques of hand building with clay! This class for all levels explores various methods for creating work using a variety of hand building techniques including slab construction, coil and tile making. Parent/Guardian attends this class with child.

Beyond the basics of drawing for ages 6-12 with Liz Magno
SP-5016 • Mon., March 24-May 12, 6:30-8 p.m.
Develop your drawing ability with creative Banana Factory artist Liz Magno by learning fundamental concepts of line, modeling, perspective and gesture. Explore various techniques using a variety of materials and tools. Liz also introduces students to a variety of fun art elements related to drawing.

Video Game Design for Kids Ages 8-12 with Kent Lee Roth
SP-5015 • Sat., March 22-May 10, 10 a.m.-noon
This fun and exciting class is taught by knowledgeable instructor Kent Lee Roth. Kent focuses on basic video game design; using Flash animation and the latest Mac computers students learn how to design their own video games.

Flying birds, crazy boxes and finger puppets, oh my! All those imaginative ideas children dream up can be made into actual paper structures with origami expert Liz Magno. Origami is the traditional Japanese art of folding paper into a variety of decorative or representational forms. Your child can learn useful and challenging skills while having tons of fun!
