ArtsQuest’s Banana Factory is a dynamic cultural arts and education center located in historic Bethlehem, PA. The building features 63,000-square feet of space that are home to:
At the Banana Factory, our primary goal is making the arts accessible to everyone. Each year, the arts center provides an array of quality arts and cultural programming for young and old alike. These programs include after-school and job skills initiatives for youth, artist lectures, arts in education programs at area schools and glassblowing demonstrations at community events like Musikfest and Christkindlmarkt.
People can also explore their creative side via more than 200 visual arts classes, workshops and children’s summer camps throughout the year.
Classes are available for all schedules and skill levels.

The Banana Factory is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Each first Friday of the month, the Banana Factory comes alive with live music, glassblowing demonstrations and opportunities to meet our featured artists. All of the resident artists are in their studios, eager to talk to you about their art, inspirations and creative processes.
First Fridays are free and open to the public; hours are 6-9 p.m.
The Banana Factory is located at 25 W. Third St. in Bethlehem, PA, and is easily accessible from I-78 and Routes 22, 378 and 412.
