At the Banana Factory, we believe strongly that the visual arts should be accessible to and enjoyed by everyone. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of arts in education programs for hundreds of area school students - with a focus on those who are at-risk - allowing young people to learn, grow and thrive with the arts. Many of these unique educational programs are offered at little or no cost to the schools. In addition, the art center’s two galleries, 27 resident artists’ studios and numerous special events throughout the year are presented to the public free of charge.
All of our programs and activities are made possible thanks to the support of individuals, corporations and foundations.
