The Art of Business: Digital Photography

Digital Photography

Our Olympus Digital Imaging Center is the launching pad for Art of Business offerings that show participants how to look at the world in an entirely different way, unlocking new techniques for tackling issues, problems and processes that they deal with at work each day.

The Art of Business offers the following digital photography programs:

The Creative Vision

Explore the Banana Factory and South Side Bethlehem with a digital camera. During an exciting presentation and photo shoot, participants capture what inspires them through the creative process of photography. They then analyze and edit their photos, all with the help of a world-renowned professional photographer. Programs can be arranged for groups to work in small teams or as a full team with an instructor. Participants receive a digital print of their personal masterpiece.

Attendees: Up to 10; Up to 20
Time: 2 hours (for up to 10); 3 hours (for up to 20)
Cost: $650 (for up to 10); $1,100 (for up to 20)

Photography Adventure Training

This teambuilding scavenger hunt experience defies logic and invites people to tap into their intuitive thought process and work spontaneously as a team. The group breaks into teams of five to collaborate during the scavenger hunt. The focus is to capture photography concepts, not images. Teams receive a list of items and must capture three of the concepts in an hour. This is an exercise in quick observation, collaboration, competitive spirit, intensity, imagination and more. Upon completing the scavenger hunt, the group meets in the Olympus Digital Imaging Center for a slideshow presentation of each team’s photographs. The group also receives a copy of the slideshow.

Attendees: Up to 20
Time: 3 hours
Cost: $1,100

“During the photography teambuilding program, people should expect to develop confidence, see things from the perspective of others, tap into creativity, work more efficiently in teams, appreciate the diverse skills of others, look outside the box and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment.”

~Olaf Starorypinski, ArtsQuest “Art of Business” Photography Instructor
