Please wear the appropriate clothing to class. 70% or higher cotton clothing(cotton jeans & cotton tee shirt).
No open toed shoes or high heels. Please keep your hair tied back at all times. Jewelry can be dangerous and uncomfortable while glassblowing.
Eye protection is required. Eyewear is available for use in the studio. You may bring clear or lightly tinted sunglasses.
Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself well hydrated.

GlassWorks’ “Make Your Own” program, run by artist Beth Ann Ballek, is a fun and exciting way to learn the basics of glassblowing. If you have ever watched glass art being made and would like to try it for yourself, this is your chance! Students may sign up for one-half hour time slots; choose between a flower, ornament or paperweight. Flowers and paperweights are for ages 14 and older; ornaments are for ages 6 and up.

The Hot Shop and Flameworking Studio are available for rental when not in use for classes. GlassWorks can also arrange private lessons with qualified instructors when the studio is not being used.
