1 Day Workshop

Sunday, April 30 | 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Drop in anytime between 10am-1pm.

Join us for a cup of coffee and some casual conversations with like-minded photographers and photography enthusiasts. In celebration of Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day, attendees are welcome to create a pinhole camera and photography courtesy of Dan’s Camera City!

Scott Piccotti will be leading this fun, hands-on mini workshop where you'll get to make your own camera, take pictures using the camera you JUST made, and develop your pictures in a darkroom. You'll need to bring a box or container that you can make light tight, that opens and closes, and that you can cut a hole into. For example, you could use an oatmeal container, a shoe box, a paint can or a cigar box. If you want, you can bring some things to photograph. Pinhole photography is an interesting way to see familiar things in new ways!

Please note, you don't have to make a pinhole camera in order to attend Coffee & Cameras.

Scott Piccotti works at Dan’s Camera City as a website developer, photo instructor, remote pilot, and photographer. He studied photography at Moravian College, lives in Bethlehem, PA, and has been tinkering with pinhole cameras since somewhere around the 3rd grade.
