Co-Directors of Bethlehem House Gallery, Ward Van Haute and Kate Hughes, discuss the gallery/artist partnership and how artists can get the most out of the relationship with the gallery that represents them. Topics in the presentation will include tips for presenting your work, gallery etiquette and pricing strategies. This event is FREE for the Artist Collective. Ward is a 15 year Art Department veteran of stage and screen. Working as an Art Director, Props Master, and Set Decorator in Philadelphia and New York markets, Ward has provided interior design for more than 100 TV commercials, music videos, and films as well as furnishing dozens of theatre productions. Ward’s interior and curatorial design is a fusion of various modern and contemporary styles, creating warm and inviting living spaces.

Kate Hughes, Co-Director at the Bethlehem House Gallery, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Fine Arts from Cedar Crest College. She has an extensive background in contemporary art, photography, theater, radio and is heavily involved in local charitable organizations. Kate has been a resident of the Lehigh Valley for the past twenty years and looks forward to watching the local art scene unfold one Bethlehem House Contemporary Art Gallery show at a time.
