Genevieve Coutroubis is a documentary photographer and ethnographer who received her Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Boston University and later earned a Master of Science in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. Genevieve has been documenting Greece since 1995. Several years ago, she departed from her black and white images of Greece and began shooting color with a Holga camera. Her "Greece" body of work captures the nation's diversity and beauty as she experiences it. Genevieve has exhibited extensively locally, nationally and internationally. In 2007 she was recognized by the National Museum for Women in the Arts when Susan Fisher Sterling invited her to participate in “Women to Watch: Photography in Philadelphia.” Genevieve’s work also appears in numerous national and international collections including SEI’s West Collection.

Leah MacDonald grew up in Philadelphia with a life rich with art and a diverse source of cultural experiences. She discovered photography while attending the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr and took her first college course at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She thought she would become a photojournalist; however, plans change and as an artist she has always been very experimental.

Leah moved to California and received her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Photography and also began a career as a teacher and mixed media artist. About 10 years ago she returned to Philadelphia to focus on her career. She teaches mixed media workshops from her studio and on location as well. She is a commercial photographer and owner of Jewellea Photography, specializing in weddings and boudoir photography. She is also the owner of Bliss Books, a high end, hand-made album and book-making company.
