June 23 – August 19, 2018 2018-06-23 09:00:00 2018-08-19 21:00:00 15 Open Spectrum: New Works from Tom D’Angelo and Susan Washington Crayola Gallery true MM/DD/YYYY
Venue: Crayola Gallery

There is a strong narrative running through Susan Washington's work that references her long involvement with collage, textiles, fashion and art. Susan has continued to push her own boundaries, re-inventing her own work with each piece and carrying something new to the next, unafraid of exploring while continuing to keep a cohesive thread, recognizably her own.

Susan's work is now collected internationally and she is represented by galleries in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC and the UK.

“For me, making art is simply a process of discovery and refinement. There is a consistency I strive for, but the nature of my creativity is spontaneity, so I allow the work and material to guide me.”

Tom D’Angelo lives in Alpha, NJ and his studio is in Easton, PA. He graduated from Monmouth University in 2004 with a BA in Art. Since 2008 he has exhibited and curated art exhibitions in the Lehigh Valley. From 2011 until 2014, he operated a pop-up gallery out of his garage, aptly named “Our Garage Space”. In May of 2015, he and Chaz Hampton opened Brick and Mortar Gallery and Design Studio in Easton, Pa.
