ArtsQuest is hosting its 9th annual InVision program in November 2019. InVision is a premier photo-based art program that is designed to foster excitement and dialogue between a diverse group of participants around learning about and making art. This month-long series and complementary year-long programming provides professional development, networking and hands-on workshops for photographers, image-based artists, creative entrepreneurs, makers and DIYers. InVision Festival leverages the unique attractions, history and landscape of the surrounding region and celebrates its diverse artistic and cultural community.

This year, InVision will be hosting its ninth-annual open juried exhibition. This exhibition is a regional* photo-based juried competition that includes works outside of photography and traditional photographers such as creatives, makers, artists and designers in multiple creative disciplines that use the photographic process in a significant way.

The Juror for the 9th Annual InVision Photo-Based Art will be announced in the coming weeks.

Awards: (cash prizes to winners)

Best in Show Photo-Based Art = $750
Best in Show Photography= $750
2nd place = $500
3rd place = $250

Award winners will be announced during the InVision First Friday on November 1 from 6-9 p.m.

Non-Refundable Entry Fee is $35 for up to 3 submissions. Artist Collective price is $25 for up to 3 submissions. Deadline to apply is September 22, artist will be notified by September 30. Application and full prospectus will be available in the coming weeks.

This panel brings together individuals that have artistic, curatorial, cultural and historical expertise. The members of the panel offer a rare opportunity to explore issues of care and collecting of art objects as well as precious family treasures.
