Wednesdays, April 12-June 14 | 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Designed for all levels, the instructor will engage with students at their skill level. This class offers beginners the opportunity to learn the basics of centering, shaping and trimming on the wheel. Students with some experience will work with an experienced instructor to improve and expand their technique. Students will learn to master the methods and techniques of making pottery on the wheel through demonstrations, hands on exercises, and plenty of individual instruction.

Week 1 | Intro to throwing on the wheel, basic cylinder.
Week 2 | Learn about the many forms pottery can take.
Week 3 | Continue to develop throwing skills, learn about trimming pots.
Week 4 – 7 | Continue to develop throwing skills, learn about adding handles.
Week 8 | Complete all projects.
Week 9- 10 | Glaze
