This class is designed for children ages 2-4 and their adult caregivers. Each class focuses on a theme such as "animals and nature," "family and friends," "sun and moon," and "quiet, warm, and cozy" and begins with simple, fun yoga movements. The teaching-artist reads a children's picture book and engages children in describing the pictures, predicting what might happen next, and guessing what certain words mean. Each class concludes with process-focused artmaking experiences, all related to the day's theme.

Kristin Baxter has taught art to children, teens, and adults for 20+ years in schools, museums, and community organizations.
