Contestants can bring their own hand tools, torches and color, some clear (see entry form for complete rules and details). The competition will take place from 2-8 p.m. on August 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10.
Hot Shotz 2018
At Musikfest 2018, the ArtsQuest Glass Studio held their second glass making competition. One artist worked at a time during a 3 hour competition slot that took place at the Hot Glass Studio tent. During this time, each artist used borosilicate glass to create a one of a kind shot glass that will be judged against the other works of art created during the competition. Prizes will be awarded for popular vote as well as judge’s choice.
Congratulations to Eric Hale (Judge’s Choice) and Joshua Seidman (Popular Vote) for winning The Musikfest Hot Shotz Competition! The 2 will square off at Glass Blast 2018 to crown an ultimate champion!
