How far do things have to go before they are forced to be acknowledged? How many lines in the sand will be crossed before we cease to cross them? There is tension everywhere In our world. These paintings are no different. Every shape and color faces tension with another. Every stacked shape and color finds contrast with another. These painted compositions, much like the surface of our world, struggle to coalesce into harmony in spite of the disparate shapes and colors. When I and We are successful, beauty is there.

They are meditations on Life, Death, and Remembrance. Ruminations on love, lost, and how memory serves, and fails, to recollect what has past.
