ARTSQUEST ANNOUNCES NEW GINVITATIONAL SPIRITS EVENT

This new tasting experience, produced in partnership with Jay Nee of Juniper and Grain, will take place at the Banana Factory Arts Center on Sun., June 12, 2022

BETHLEHEM, Pa.— ArtsQuest is proud to announce plans for a new spirit-tasting experience called the Ginvitational. This inaugural event, produced in partnership with Jay Nee of Juniper and Grain, will take place at the Banana Factory Arts Center from 1 – 5 p.m., with a VIP hour beginning at noon, on Sun., June 12. Tickets can be purchased now on steelstacks.org. VIP passes are priced at $99 and regular admission is $59, with discounts for ArtsQuest members. “We are excited to partner with Jay Nee of Juniper and Grain on this brand-new event,” ArtsQuest’s Chief Programming Officer Patrick Brogan said. “With his expertise, Jay will show our guests how they can up their hosting game. And what better environment to celebrate cocktail culture than the Banana Factory building, home to our robust arts scene and programming.”

Guests of this gin-forward (not gin-exclusive) event will be introduced to spirits from a long list of local, national and international distillers including the Ginvitational Lounge sponsor Edrington who will be featuring their No. 3 London Dry Gin. The event will also feature local favorites Social Still, Eight Oaks Farm Distillery and Mishka Vodka brands, among many others. Jay Nee of Juniper and Grain will present samplings and educational seminars to help take attendees’ cocktail knowledge and skills to the next level. The event will also feature food from some of the area’s top restaurants. Additionally, there will be selfie stations and interactive social media photo opportunities throughout the venue. VIP ticket holders will get exclusive access to the first hour of the Ginvitational (12 – 1 p.m.), a special seminar and VIP-only spirits.

Jay Nee brings more than twenty years of beverage hospitality experience to the table. Since moving to the Lehigh Valley from New England 15 years ago, he has worked in the beverage hospitality industry in a number of roles. He helped develop one of the most interesting wine programs in the area and launched a recurring wine education night that has entertained hundreds of guests. He has gone on to present more than 400 wine, beer and spirits events for thousands of guests. Guests are also invited to join Jay and ArtsQuest on Wed., April 20 for a multi-course Italian Wine Dinner.
