1 Day Workshop

Tuesday, July 2 | 7-9 p.m.

Kurinuki is a form of hand building from Japan. This method of pottery making is subtractive and is created by carving away from a solid block of clay. This form of hand building is more methodical and intuitive. No two pieces will ever be the same.

Hand held torches will be used in this class under guidance of the instructor.

Students will choose glazes on the day of the workshop and work will be glazed by the instructor after the vessels are fired once.

Gabriella Gentile is a visual artist from Scranton, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Visual Arts from Keystone College in 2020 where she concentrated in ceramics, sculpture, and graphic design.
