Wednesdays, June 5-19 | 6-8:30 p.m.

Gain confidence and knowledge in watercolor painting with this three-week course! During this class, students will explore basic watercolor painting techniques to learn how to create realistic and vibrant paintings. Insight into how each color reacts with one another will be explored, along with ways of creating contrast, light, and depth within a painting. Students will have the opportunity to create a small watercolor painting of a nature scene or object to practice their new skills!

I’m a watercolor and embroidery artist living in the Lehigh Valley. I received my bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in fine art from West Chester University. I use both watercolor and embroidery in unconventional ways, focusing on pushing the limits of each medium. Over the last five years, I was involved in a variety of shows and exhibitions throughout the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia, including the Lehigh Valley Punk Rock Flea Market, Virtual Feminist Flea Market in Philadelphia, Ex Libris Compendium at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, and Art in the Park in Allentown.
