Learn how to make your own graphic pillow case using block printing techniques. Teaching Artist Alex Snowden will lead participants through the class, and a voucher for a glass of wine or beer will be provided to students to get the creative juices flowing! All materials are included. This class is for students aged 21 and older.

Alexandra Snowden (Buffalo, NY 1989) is an interdisciplinary artist working between printmaking, photography, sculpture and collage. She holds a BFA in Fiber and Material Studies from The Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Pennsylvania. She was recently a Teaching Artist through the Print Center's Artists-in-Schools program where she worked with underserved youth teaching contemporary art, printmaking and photography. She specializes in silkscreen printing and has also taught sculpture and digital photography. She enjoys working with students of all levels, and has experience working with children and adults.  Her most recent exhibitions include Time in Dreams is Frozen at the Icebox Project Space and Remote Control at Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Philadelphia. She is currently based in Lehigh Valley, PA.
