MaryJo Rosania-Harvie

MaryJo Rosania-Harvie, MFA, EdD has been an art educator and artist for over 20 years and is certified in K-12 Art Education and Educational Administration in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is currently an interim professor of practice in the art department at Moravian University. MaryJo has a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a BFA, teacher certification, and a Doctorate in Transformational Teaching and Learning from Kutztown University. MaryJo has supervised arts departments, developed curriculum, and has been an Arts Administrator, school Assistant Principal, and Principal. She has worked with and supported many talented and dedicated teachers and students throughout her career and believes that creative arts education is the key to building healthier communities, collaborative critical thinkers, and healers who can engage in creative problem solving and express themselves through their work. MaryJo’s artwork is interdisciplinary and includes drawing, embroidery, video, photography, costume design, graphic design, interactive installation, performance, and theatre. MaryJo loves to teach her students about a variety of artists & techniques to help them to amplify their artistic vision and voice.
