Digital Photography for Teens (Ages 13-18)
with Danielle Hepner
Wednesdays, May 3 - May 24 | 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Get your cameras ready! Students will explore their surroundings through the digital camera lens. Each week will focus on a different camera function and photography technique, including basic camera functions and composition, shutter, aperture, program and manual settings, depth of field and exposure. Weather permitting, students will venture outside to photograph in the SouthSide Arts District.
Danielle Hepner is a multitalented photographer service providing portrait, lifestyle, and event photography. Danielle lives and works in the Lehigh Valley of Northeast PA as a photographer, artist, and art educator. She is an adjunct faculty member in the art departments of two community colleges where I teach fine arts, design, photography and art history. Danielle earned a BFA in Sculpture with K-12 Art Ed Certification at the University of the Arts and an MA in Visual Arts at Adelphi University.
“I believe that digital photography is a way to continue my creative efforts as a visual artist and to bridge the traditional forms of photography with the ever changing modern technologies that now envelope it.” – Danielle Hepner
