Krystal Rose Ledoux is an artist who paints in acrylic and oil. She was born and currently resides in the suburbs of Philly. She earned her BA in fine arts from Albright College and a MFA in painting from Marywood University. After having her first solo show at Paper-kite Gallery she took a long break from painting to raise her daughter. She is now exploring figures in her life as a mother using her daughter as inspiration in her art. Constantly trying to find herself and not lose herself in motherhood. She wanted the viewer to be able to use some of their senses, to make them feel something, when they observe these paintings. She did this by experimenting with several painting mediums and now other mediums involving her hobbies of sewing and knitting. This gives textures, layers, a sense of space, and expression.
