Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony: First Friday, November 1, 6-9 p.m.

ArtsQuest is hosting its 9th annual InVision program in November 2019. InVision is a premier photo-based art program that is designed to foster excitement and dialogue between a diverse group of participants around learning about and making art. This month-long series and complementary year-long programming provides professional development, networking and hands-on workshops for photographers, image-based artists, creative entrepreneurs, makers and DIYers. InVision Festival leverages the unique attractions, history and landscape of the surrounding region and celebrates its diverse artistic and cultural community.

An integral part of the festival again this year is the annual College Exhibition. This exhibition in our Hallway to the Arts is a special juried exhibition highlighting the artistic talents of students currently enrolled in college. This exhibition is an excellent opportunity for students to exhibit their works in a professional setting with thousands of visitors seeing the works during the duration of the show and will also welcome photo-based art in addition to fine art photography. We consider photo-based art to include works outside of photography and traditional photographers, such as creatives, makers, artists and designers in multiple creative disciplines that use the photographic process in a significant way.
